Day 6 - 8
Blijf op de hoogte en volg Loes
05 Mei 2014 | Verenigd Koninkrijk, Motcombe
The next day, Saturday, we woke up quite early to go to Dorchester, which is the town of the novelist Thomas Hardy. We had a city walk and we had lunch in a good restaurant. After that, we went to Blandford to visit the grandparents of Lucy and Sophie. Lucy and Sophie needed to do lots of homework, so I sat in the garden (very sunny) and I read a newspaper. In the evening, we had a BBQ and we had a talk for the rest of the evening.
On Sunday, we went to Shaftesbury to have lunch. We were in a restaurant from where we had a really nice view over the valleys. Later, we picked up the girls for playing hockey. We went to a local sportsclub and we had a lot of fun! Lucy and Lewis (a boy who played hockey with us) both play for Dorset and they are both selected for West England. So this was a good experience. After dinner, Sophie and I watched 'Outnumbered' and 'Blackadder'.
In short, I have had a nice weekend!
Bye!

Hanneke Moors:
After visiting Hardy's Dorchester you have to read Tess of d'Urbervilles!
It is nice to know that you also have plenty of time for fun activities. Enjoy your final week! -
